Several ICF/ID providers have contacted us concerned that they have not yet received the FY 2013-2014 assessment amounts from ODP.     ODP is considerably behind on many things right now, because they "are very busy and understaffed."    I think that the assessments will be issued shortly, because your first payment is due October 25th, and we have received copy of one letter on Friday.   If you are concerned about what number to include in the FY 2013-2014 waiver forms and budgets, which are due October 31st, contact me at  mahaschrt@aztacinc.com and I can provide you with our calculation of the assessment.  

When you received the "assessment letter," it will show the calculation of a rate that is effective July 1, 2013.   This is NOT your FY 2013-2014 rate.   It is a continuation of your existing rate (most likely the FY 2012-2103 rate, but not in all cases), adjusted for the new assessment amount.    This rate will be superceded by the FY 2013-2014 interim rate when it is issued as a standard interim rate or as a rate that is the result of approved waiver request(s).     This will likely occur sometime in 2014.
