The deadline for submission of the Community Cost Reports has been moved a few times, and the latest due date, and probably the final is Friday October 19, 2008.    The deadline in future years is supposed to be November 15, 2008.  It was earlier this year, because ODP needs more time to review and respond to the reports.  This first year or two will be difficult  to work out the bugs and to set up your agency files in cost-report-friendly formats.   The future years will become a process that we will all become better and better at, but it will certainly be tedious and time consuming forever.  Anyone who does ICF/MR cost reports understands this.  As Estelle Richman stated in a meeting a few months ago, make sure you have someone competent completing this important task!
