Michele O’Toole has been named as the new Western Regional Manager.  Michele, a University of Scranton alumna with a degree in psychology, began working at Allied Services ICF/MR in Scranton as a DSP after graduation.  She discovered that she loved the people, so made a decision to pursue a career within the Intellectual Disability field. She also worked at Lackawanna/Susquehanna/Wayne Counties MH/MR Joinder for thirteen years.  She served as ODP Northeast Region Licensing Administrator from 2002 to 2005.  She transitioned into a Program Representative position and returned to working with Positive Approaches/Dual Diagnosis, County Plans, Lifesharing and Employment. In July of 2007, she was promoted to supervisor in the region, and has continued to be involved in the Jimmie and Benjamin Settlement Activities, Positive Practices and Dual Diagnosis.  Michele enjoys mentoring and working with folks on developing competencies and is involved with budgetary activities.  Michele will officially start on May 6, 2013.
